As such, the "old" drivers won't install. All of the "working" solutions that I found on the 'net are for the "old" C920, whereas I have a "new" C920 that presents a different PID (0892). Its rare for a company to replicate software functions and given the problems caused by G-Hub its safe to bet that its days are probably numbered.
Logitech is clearly investing development time in Logi Tune. I too suspect that it's an issue with the driver and firmware on the C920, and have tried all sorts of things to resolve. Once microphones are added (Yeti) Im guessing that Logitech will drop G-Hub at least for Mac and probably for PC. Logitech Gaming Software has generally been one of the best programs on. Like you, I just want to control the £80 camera with the software - zoom a little, get ride of the widescreen angle, nothing much. The Logitech G Hub peripheral management software is attractive and comprehensive, but it has a bit of a learning curve. I think the answer is as you've said - the moderators and Logitech staffers on this board simply do not know the products nor do they have the answers or are not willing to share as the answer isn't good publicity. Why? Why not answer the question and provide information that can be used by other people with the same issue? Is that not what "Community Forums" are for, to allow people to self serve?
